When purchasing the MetalWise Series Plasma Cutter, you will get a package that consists of a Mechanized Torch with Torch Lead, a Hand-held Torch with a Torch Lead (water-cooling plasma no hand-held torch) and a pack of consumables free of charge. The Mach-Series Mechanized Plasma Cutter Torch System

The Mach-Series Mechanized Plasma Cutter Torch System from am.co.za is carefully designed for MetalWise Series Plasma Cutters, providing efficient and high quality cutting results with longer consumables lifespan. All consumables, excluding the electrode are easy to replace by hand without requiring any tools, the electrode can simply be removed by a small spanner which comes with the torch. Although the two above named consumables are required to be replaced more frequently:

Electrode: Replace as soon as the center of electrode has been worn out by about 1.5 mm. Failing to replace the electrode may cause other consumables as well as the torch to burn out.
Nozzel: Replace as soon as the center of the nozzle hole has been damaged. Failing to replace the nozzle will dramatically effect the cutting quality, thickness and speed.

General speaking, once every several hours of continues cutting, you need to change the nozzle. For every two nozzles changed, you need to change the electrode. For every two electrodes changed, you need to change the shield. Which is why we provide nozzles in a pack of 20, electrodes in a pack of 10 and shields in a pack of 5. Other consumables rarely needs changing, although we strongly suggest that you stock 1 or 2 extra as spares.
